Sold 1946 - Owl Shaped Weatherhouse and Thermometer On the front this piece is marked "The Wise Owl Weather Forcaster" and on the bottom it has directions for using the "Weatherman Owl Wheater Forcaster (Hygrometer)". Along with the directions, this piece is marked on the bottom "The Weatherman 430 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Ill Made in U.S.A. Pat. Jan 1, 1946 No. 143432". It measures 6 1/2" tall and is in very good condition with just some light crazing that is common for composition pieces like this. There are two figure in the bottom. An owl that comes out when it is sunny and a man in a rain coat that comes out when the humidity is high. There is also a little thermometer in the middle that also appear to be working fine.

Vintage 1930's Porcelain Elephant Perfume Lamp This is wonderful and rare Elephant perfume lamp. I have never seen an elephant perfume lamp before. He has one tiny nick on one foot; other wise he is perfect and has been rewired with original socket; and is made of porcelain with glass eyes. There is a hole in his one ear for the perfume. The only marking on this piece is the incised numbers on the back of on leg "8642". It is fine and well detailed so I beleive it is German or French. It masures 7" tall and about 7" across.

Josef Originals Animated Bunny Music Box This is a wonderful Josef Originals music box. One bunny moves in and out of his mushroom shelter as the box plays "It's a Small World". It stands 6" tall. The chimny was broken and glued back and as usual some of the tiny dried flowers that were in the grass are missing. They are easily replaced. This box has the Josef Originals Label in tact on the bottom and some of the paper on the bottom has been torn or worn away.

Pair Goldscheider Rabbits, Brown Here are 2 Goldscheider Rabbits. The larger one is about 5" long and 3 1/2" tall; and the smaller one is about 3" tall. They are both perfect. The large one is marked on the bottom GOLDSCHEIDER-EVERLAST CORP.and U.S.A. and numbered 878 and 2. The smaller one has a number on the bottom that might be 878. These are hand painted under the glossy glaze. They are very beautiful.

SOLD Pair California Pottery Giraffe This is a pair of hand made pottery figurines. They look like the work of one of the california pottery firms of the 1940's-50's. Vintage 1930's Porcelain Monkey Perfume Lamp AS IS This is wonderful and rare Monkey perfume lamp.He is smoking a pipe and playing cards. His belly is shaped like a bowl to hold jewelry, loose change or hair pins...what ever the owner might want to keep on their dresser or vanity. I have never seen an monkey perfume lamp before. He is NOT perfect, There is a chip at the socket hole, a hair line crack on the very bottom and no light inside. He is porcelain with glass eyes. There is a hole in his back for the perfume. Inside it is marked "AROMA PAT 29452". It is beautifully detailed and measures almost 7" across and 5 1/2" tall.
