Italian Pottery Vase, Eagle and American Flag This is a fabulous vintage 1950’s Italian vase. It is 10 ¼” tall and has a hand painted pattern of the American eagle and flag. On the bottom it is marked “5520 C.C.C. Italy Heritage”. I assume that the pattern is Heritage. This is a heavy piece with a thick glaze. Condition is good…no cracks but, there are some light chips around the bottom edge and three tiny dots where the glaze did not adhere to the surface smoothly. The glaze dots I have seen frequently on this type of pottery. This is a wonderful patriotic piece and a highly unusual theme for an Italian piece.
