California Pottery Country Lady "AS IS" This is a lovely young counrty lady. She is marked on the base but, I cannot read the impressed mark...I can read and incised "M". She is hand painted under a high gloss clear glaze which is the style of the 1940's-50's California potters. there is one tiny chip at the back of the base and a rough of the glaze on her nose. She has the usual crazing common in this type of high gloss glaze. She stands 10" tall and is so pretty!.

CHALK NUDE GIRL ON ANIMAL SKIN This is an unusual piece. I'm not sure what it was suppose to be used for. It is a chalk figure of a gil on an animal skin rug...could be a tiger...but looks more like a squirle. There are 18 circular indents...for what? Candles or cigarettes..I don't know. The girl is very classic 1950's in style. There are a few minor nicks and I think it looks like it was repainted a long time ago. Otherwise the condition is quite good...no breaks or cracks. This piece stands 7 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches long.

Girl with Dog Carnival Chalkware This is a very unusual chalkware figurine of a little girl and her dog. I have never seen this particular one before. This piece is a Carnival chalk figurine that was often used a prize at carnivals or fairs. It is 8 ½" tall and in good condition. It is roughly made as many of these carnival chalk pieces were and has some minor nicks bruises that you can see in the photos. This will be a wonderful addition to any collection of chalkware.

Wishing Well Cowboy Figurine This is a wonderful Vintage 1940’s-50’s Chalk piece. It has a cowboy with a guitar and a girl with a jug at a well. At the bottom front edge it is marked "Wishing Well". This piece is 7 ½" tall and 6 1/2" wide. It is in very good condition with just a few minor nicks and one tiny chip at the bottom back. These are quite common for chalk ware. The colors are nice and bright.
