This is wonderful and rare Elephant perfume lamp. I have never seen an elephant perfume lamp before. He has one tiny nick on one foot; other wise he is perfect and has been rewired with original socket; and is made of porcelain with glass eyes. There is a hole in his one ear for the perfume. The only marking on this piece is the incised numbers on the back of on leg "8642". It is fine and well detailed so I beleive it is German or French. This is wonderful and rare Monkey perfume lamp.He is smoking a pipe and playing cards. His belly is shaped like a bowl to hold jewelry, loose change or hair pins...what ever the owner might want to keep on their dresser or vanity. I have never seen an monkey perfume lamp before. He is NOT perfect, There is a chip at the socket hole, a hair line crack on the very bottom and no light inside. He is porcelain with glass eyes. There is a hole in his back for the perfume. This is wonderful and rare Dog perfume lamp. I have had dog perfume lamps before but, this is by far the most beautiful and expressive one I have had. He is perfect, rewired with original socket; and is made of porcelain with glass eyes; and he is hand painted. There is a hole in his one shoulder for the perfume. It has an incised marked "E T 4310 on the bottom and the socket is marked Berlin. It is so finely sculpted and well detailed that I beleive it is a German or French piece. Here is a true 1950's gem. A Cypress Knee table lamp with the extreamly hard to find original wood shade. The lamp base is perfect but the wiring is showing age to the point that it should be rewired. This lamp has its original finial. The shade has a fine crack in the front and a break in the back. It should be cleaned and someone with someone skill in woodworking could fix this. But, even if you leave the shade as is you have one very presentable side. This is a great hand made Pottery Lamp. It is almost 10"tall and in perfect condition. There is just some light wear on the gold highlights. The pottery has a colorful majolica glossy glaze. You are seeing a lot of reflections in my phots. In person this piece is even more beautiful. There are three fish and a star fish inside the belly of the lamp. It is unmarked but, this is very typical of the lamps made in Italy in the 1950's as night lights and TV lamps. It takes a 7 watt night light bulb and works fine. | $125.00 | $12.00 |
